AGM 2010

EEFC AGM          8th May 2010          1pm Perth Free Church

1) Council Nominations
Sam Thompson began the meeting by asking the AGM to ratify the appointments of Chairman (Tim Donachie) and Secretary (David Collingwood) that had taken place last autumn. The AGM approved these nominations and also the appointment of Andrew Johnstone as an EEFC Council member.
Tim announced that Donald Matheson, Janet Matheson, Andrew Burrows and Anne Brodie are all stepping down from the Council and that we are grateful to God for their years of service and for all that each has contributed to the work of EEFC.

2) Outgoing Chairman's Report:

2) Incoming Chairman's Report
Tim presented his report and informed the AGM of the annual conference that has been set up to alternate between Hungary and Scotland. The first of these will be on September 18th 2010 in Budapest, to which all are encouraged to attend.

3) Financial Report
David Collingwood presented Philip Brown's Treasurer's Report. The accounts were provisionally approved by the AGM, subject to independent auditing and Council approval. A copy of the accounts is available on request from the Treasurer.

4) Camps Report
Sam Thompson delivered his report, giving update on the camps work over the last year and the vision for the coming years.

5) Secretary's Report
David Collingwood delivered his report and the AGM approved the proposal for a constitutional amendment to remove the words ‘in March of' from item 2 of the Organisation section of the Constitution [The society shall hold an Annual General Meeting in March of each year].
