Bucsin Campsite and Water Project
In 1997 CE Union bought a 1.7 hectare large new campsite in Bucsin (Eastern Carpathians Mountain), 75 km from Târgu Mureş (Marosvásárhely) in a beautiful wooded area. In 1999 with the help of Eastern Europe for Christ (EEFC) a Christian organisation from Scotland, the neighbouring 1.7 hectare was also purchased.
The CE Union organise evangelistic Bible language camps for young people with the rationale to provide:
a) a fun holiday for the campers
b) an intensive English language camp
c) an opportunity for Christian fellowship, teaching and outreach

The CE Union have had up to 8 different types of camps held at the Bucsin area for various groups of campers. In partnership with EEFC, UK Christian volunteers come to teach English language as well as lead Bible study and participate in other aspects of camp life.
The CE Union have big plans: “ 'if it is the Lord’s will and we will live' (James 4, 15), we are looking to develop the camp-complex to accommodate about one hundred and fifty campers. Until the funds are raised for this, a minimal level of accommodation has been already built in the form of two wooden houses."
"Thank God our dream started to become reality through the financial support of our brothers and sisters from Britain. On the 8th July 2003 we laid down the foundation-stone of the central main building. The bottom floor contains the kitchen and dinning areas which can be easily converted into a function hall. The upper floor contain accommodation for up to 40 people in dormitories, 6-8 persons. "
