EEFC Camps 2009
It is with thankfulness to God that I can report a successful conclusion to another year`s camps without any mishaps or misadventures We should all offer a particular prayer of thankfulness that we were protected from the swine flu, which came very close to us and necessitated the cancellation of the Bucsin camp. Fortunately we were able, through the efforts of our past and present Camps Coordinators, to divert the Bucsin team first to Mahanaim and then to a neighbouring site at Peniel being operated by a team from McQuiston Church in Northern Ireland, to whom we express our gratitude.
A total of over 300 young people attended our camps and the reports from our teams indicate an encouraging level of interest from the campers in the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. May the seed that was sown through that Gospel grow to maturity in the hearts and minds of all who heard it so that they too might proclaim it to “ the ends of the earth “.
I wish to thank all the UK teams for their contribution to this valuable and rewarding mission work, remembering these words of Scripture “Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his ways will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins”.
