EEFC Conference
It was a privilege to be at the EEFC Conference in Debrecen this year. It was the first time for 5 years that representatives from all camps gathered together to share news about each EEFC camp and ideas how they could be improved. Hecje, Hódmezővásárhely, Debrecen, Mahanaim, Tivadar and Bucsin camps were all represented and some people had travelled over 10 hours to get there from deepest and darkest Romania! David and Donald flew in from Scotland especially for this conference and they both agreed that it was well worth it.
It was a real chance to catch up with old friends and to meet new ones. We shared with each other and the fact that representatives from all camps were there meant that we could see the whole picture of EEFC. But more importantly, the fact is that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ with one message to share, that Jesus Christ is our Saviour and can be the kids' Saviour too. EEFC's motto was very fitting this weekend: "Partnership in the Gospel."
The hospitality we were shown by the Reformed Church in Debrecen and the Hungarian team was brilliant and we were fed overwhelming amounts of delicious food! Enough to last me a week afterwards! We would like to thank them for their hospitality and encouragement. We pray that they would continue to be a great example in our Lord and Jesus Christ to the Hungarian church and campers.
I'm looking forward already to going to the summer camps even though I am freezing and it is snowing in Budapest as I write this!
God bless you all,
Love in Christ,
