Hejce Seniors Camp 2008

The camp this year was from 19th - 26th July and as usual was held at the Hejce site. We had aproximately 40 campers this year from various backgrounds and levels of English. The 2nd Hejce camp is for senior campers and all campers are 16 plus. This year for the first time Gyöngyi and Eva took on the task of National leaders. Janet Matheson was the EEFC team leader and was assisted by David Barnie and John and Elizabeth Clibborn. Although a small EEFC team the camp was a great sucess. The campers were well behaved and appeared to enjoy the camp. The weather this year was a little damper than what we are used to at Hejce, this however did not dampen spirits. The program included English Teaching classes three times a day, the morning and evening devotions and also a program of fun activities. One day out of the camp we took a trip up the mountain, the remainder of the program was site based. There were games, sports, crafts, some Scottish traditional programs and pleanty of free time to chat informally. I'm sure everyone involved was blessed by a week spent together praising God and enjoying some time out.
