Treasurer's Report
Treasurer's Report 2010
The start of 2010 saw the end of EEFC's commitment to fund the Lidia Home. In the last four years, almost to the day, EEFC has given £18,020 pounds to the Lidia Home. In early 2007 we committed to funding £400 per month for three years, and this commitment was completed at the beginning of 2010. The commitment put a great strain on our finances, but God was gracious and we pulled through with almost £1,000 in unrestricted reserves at the end of 2009.
We are grateful to the support of Women for Mission in deciding to support the continued upgrade of the campsites in Romania. Work commenced in Buscin last year and was halted over the winter. Work has been slower to commence at Mahanaim, but we understand work was planned to start shortly there too. The money is ready to be sent as required.
As we head towards an exciting time for EEFC the finances are on a good footing. No charity should unnecessarily be sitting on reserves, but rather distributing the money for which we are so grateful for receiving. So many thanks to you, and your congregations, for the support that is given to EEFC.
